Not gonna lie, I saw a post about Neon Genesis Evangelion on Metafilter and got all Gainaxtalgic.
I don't know why I like foreign pop music so much, probably because I can't tell how vapid the lyrics are and there's no pop celebrity baggage to bum me out.

That's awesome! That is one of the few shows that I've ever watched on DVD and sat through the opening credits for every episode. Good call, sir.
