This is one of the songs on the promo for Nippon Music Champ on Album 88. I heard that promo on the radio one time while driving away from a difficult situation and the song has burrowed into my psyche now. I really like international music since I don't understand all the backstory that goes along with it. I can just sit back and enjoy the music without having the banal lyrics or the artists' latest TMZ scandal ruin it for me. Maybe that shit is only a problem in American pop music anyway.
